My Instrument: Chimes
Concepts:
- Wavelength:Distance from Crest to Crest
- Wave Speed: Velocity of a wave
- Longitudinal Waves: Waves where particle movement is parallel to motion
- Transverse Waves: Waves where the particle movement is perpendicular to motion
- Frequency: Number of waves per second
- Period: the time for each wave
- Amplitude: height of wave magnitude

I felt I did really well on this project as I greatly improved my work ethic and productivity, however I did feel that at times I lacked to show leadership. I did well with tackling the calculations and making sure my instrument was well made and my calculations were correct, and while I did everything correctly my instrument ended up not working properly. I persevered through this problem while I remained unable to fix it. I had many people help but it was only when the teacher was brought in that we learned what was wrong with it. I learned to settle for results if they come out less than satisfactory.
On this project I was less than satisfied with my growth in leadership however, and I found multiple things I could improve upon during the do it better project. I could continue to improve my abilities as a team leader and I plan to be more efficient in the next project. One time where I was particularly inefficient was when I chose to still explore what was wrong with my instrument and get it to work rather than work on the document. I hope to find ways to be more efficient and improve next project.
